Tempest The Double-Cross (Magna Carta)
Celtic prog is one of those sideways genres that probably ought not exist. And yet here's Tempest, and damn if the stuff doesn't work. 
There's the requisite technical wizardry, but by and large the band channels those impulses into the songs themselves. Over the top? 
You bet. And a lot of fun because of it, doncha know.
